Strange Beast is a brewpub and pizzeria in Miami. Its website sums it up as hot pizza and cold beer. The menu pairs house beers with a full pizza list.
The house beers cover a wide range of styles. The menu has included a blonde ale, a Munich dunkel lager, a porter, a sour, an Irish red, a hazy IPA, a Belgian tripel and a pilsner. The list rotates, so expect changes.
The kitchen makes pizza, and the menu also lists salads, garlic bread, meatballs, burrata and roasted cauliflower. You can add toppings like mushrooms, jalapeno, pineapple, bacon and spicy chorizo.
Not everyone has to drink beer. The bar also pours wine, cider, canned cocktails and hard seltzer, and the menu lists a non-alcoholic option. Strange Beast is a Fire Pit Hospitality brand, and its website links to the group's other locations.
