Bay 13 Brewery and Kitchen is a brewpub on Alhambra Plaza in Coral Gables. The brewery says it is Miami's first Aussie brewpub. It was conceived to showcase Melbourne hospitality.
The beer menu rotates, with Southern Hemisphere styles among the global mix. Staples include Laughing Gear hazy IPA, Dawn Patrol West Coast IPA, Merv German pilsner and The Brown Note American brown ale. Barrel aged releases turn up too, and some are bottle only.
The room is airy and modern, with striking polished vats. The kitchen serves steaks, salads and light bites, and there is a kids menu. A cocktail list and a happy hour page sit alongside the beer.
