About Area Two Experimental Brewing
Area Two Experimental Brewing is the innovation hub for Two Roads Brewing Company, on a 10-acre campus on Stratford Avenue in Stratford. The 25,000 square foot facility focuses on small batch development for Two Roads brands and on its own line of experimental beers.
The equipment is the draw. It has barrels, foudres, concrete and steel tanks, and a 50-barrel coolship. That mix is behind the experimental line.
The taproom pours beer flights and runs a cocktail program, with non-alcoholic options too. You can take packaged beer home. There is an outdoor patio, a rooftop patio and TVs inside.
Trivia runs weekly on Wednesdays, and the space takes private events. Food comes from the Two Roads Food Hall on the same campus, and bartenders at Area Two can have an order delivered to your table.

Area Two keeps its own schedule, separate from the main Two Roads brewery on the campus. Check hours and the events calendar on tworoadsbrewing.com before you go. Sunday growler fills and beer to go sales stop at 6 p.m. under Connecticut law.
