Breweries in Connecticut
Based on the breweries in the brewery.fyi register and their own websites, read September 2026.
No single city leads the Connecticut beer map. Stamford has the most breweries, but even Stamford, Hartford and Manchester together hold only about a tenth of them. The rest are scattered across dozens of towns, from Danbury and Bridgeport to Milford, North Haven and Wallingford.
Almost every place listed is a brewery, and where size is known, most are small microbreweries. A few brewpubs, beer gardens and beer stores fill out the list. There is a cider mill too.
Two Roads Brewing Company in Stratford and Brewport Brewing Co in Bridgeport are two of the most reviewed breweries in the state. Kinsmen Brewing Company in Milldale and Fox Farm Brewery in Salem also draw plenty of reviews.

Planning a brewery trip in Connecticut
Because the breweries are spread so evenly, there is no one obvious base. Stamford has the largest group, and Hartford, Danbury, Bridgeport and Milford each have several stops of their own.
Pick a town, then look at what sits nearby before you set out. Every brewery page on brewery.fyi has hours, a map and what to know before you go. Check it on the day, since taproom hours can change.
