About Berlinetta Brewing
Berlinetta Brewing is a brewpub and record store on Golden Hill Street in Bridgeport. Brothers Chris and Rich Ruggiero started it to brew classic European styles, with a focus on Czech beer. The taproom runs on a handmade analog soundsystem and sells classic vinyl LPs.
The flagship is Velvet Pilsner, a Czech pale lager brewed with all imported ingredients. VLK is a Czech style dark lager. The website also lists a German style kolsch and a Belgian style amber ale.
Zuppardi's pies and hot pretzels are served during all operating hours. You can bring your own food, but not outside drinks. The website says Connecticut Magazine named it an Editor's Pick for Best Brewery in the state.
Music is part of the schedule, with DJ vinyl sets and small-group jazz listed on the events page. Rentals and private bookings have their own page. It is one of the most reviewed beer spots in Bridgeport on this site.
