About Beer'd Brewing Co. - The Mill
Beer'd Brewing Co. is an independent craft brewery in the American Velvet Mill on Bayview Ave in Stonington. This taproom is known as The Mill. Beer'd also runs a second taproom in Groton called The Silo.
The brewers make a wide range of beer, from tried and true favorites to experimental small batches. The aim is beer that suits everyone, whether you have drunk craft beer for years or it is your first sip.
The Mill has two places to sit. The Beer'd Garden is the sit-down area where you can grab a bite to eat. The OG taproom has more of a bar-like feel.
Families are welcome here. Dogs are not allowed in the Beer'd Garden, but a Dog Den area is set aside where you can enjoy a beer with your dog on a leash.

Can I bring my dog to The Mill?
Yes, to the Dog Den. Dogs are not permitted in the Beer'd Garden, and they must stay on a leash.
Is The Mill good for kids?
Yes. The Stonington taproom is family friendly. The Groton taproom is 21+ only, so The Mill is the one to pick with children.
Can I take beer home, or fill a growler?
You can buy cans to go. Growler fills are not offered right now. State law means cans cannot be opened and drunk on site, but plenty of beer is on draft.
Can I book a private event or a large group?
Yes. Contact the brewery ahead of a large group's visit so the staff can plan for you. Private events are booked through a form at beerdbrewing.com.

Before you visit The Mill
Bring a valid state-issued ID or passport, because staff may ask to see it. Payment is by cash, credit card or Apple Pay.
Check beerdbrewing.com before you go. The What's on Tap link shows the current beers, and the calendar lists events. The taproom is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays, and Sunday hours are shorter than Saturday.
