About Gilded Goat Brewing Company
Gilded Goat Brewing Company is a family-owned brewery whose Midtown brewhouse and taproom sits on South College Avenue in Fort Collins, next to Trader Joe's. The website describes its brewing as a blend of craft tradition and microbiology. Every beer starts with Colorado water, yeast and malt.
The taproom blends the warmth of European taverns with craftsman-style simplicity, and an upstairs mezzanine overlooks the brewhouse. The 25-foot front bar is quarter sawn oak with a top of reclaimed Malaysian hardwoods. Tucked into the back bar is a working oak phone booth from 1939.
Four goat mascots watch over the room. The patio is cooled in summer and heated in winter, and the website says it is a great place to bring your pups. Cans, crowlers and growlers are sold to go.
