About The Elizabeth Brewing Company

The Elizabeth Brewing Company is a brewery and taproom on South Main Street in Elizabeth. It is housed in the historic Huber-Carlson Building, which is the only building in Elizabeth on the State Register of Historic Properties. The brewery bought the building in 2017 and turned the first floor into a brewhouse.

The beer is made downstairs on a 5 barrel system, and the taproom is upstairs. The original floor joists became the bar top, and the old wood flooring was reused for the tables. A rotating line-up is on tap, and a gluten reduced beer is on the menu too.

Food comes from two local partners, including Catalina's Diner, and the bar sells snacks and pretzels. You are also welcome to bring your own food. Kids are welcome, and there is a beer garden and patio. Trivia runs on Tuesday nights, and a free concert series and market fills Friday evenings in summer.
