Bent Barley Brewing Company is a brewery tasting room inside the Southlands Mall in southeast Aurora. Friends and coworkers Mark Job and Paul Dampier started it, and it is majority veteran-owned. It favors U.S.-made equipment and ingredients, and this location opened in 2018.
The 10-barrel brewhouse came from Portland Kettle Works. The owners joke that they love beer flavored beer, and the lineup runs West Coast IPA, Honey Kolsch, Amber, Stout, Session IPA and NEIPA, plus rotating blondes, wheats, rye ales and specialty IPAs.
Bent Barley is not a restaurant, but outside food is always welcome. Monsoon Indian Southlands delivers on site, and Waldo's Chicken brings orders straight to the taproom. Snacks, local sodas, popcorn and Athletic Brewing non-alcoholic beer are on hand.
Well behaved, leashed dogs are welcome inside and on the small patio, and treats made from the brewery's spent grain are usually around. Kids are welcome too. Trivia runs on the second and fourth Monday of each month.

Are dogs welcome at Bent Barley?
Yes. Well behaved dogs on a leash are welcome in the taproom and on the patio, and there are usually spent-grain dog treats.
