Cerebral Brewing's Aurora Arts taproom sits in the Aurora Cultural Arts District, where Cerebral has brewed at an 18,000-square-foot facility since 2022. The taproom opened in 2024. Cerebral itself was founded in 2015 by Sean Buchan and Dan McGuire in Denver's Congress Park.
The brewery calls its approach a scientific one, and it has run an in-house QA/QC lab since day one. Foeder-fermented lagers, inventive IPAs and a large barrel-aging program are its passions. Rare Trait is the house IPA, Neon Lite is a Colfax lager and Gasoline Rainbows is a West Coast IPA.
First Friday comes to this taproom each month with live music, new gallery art from DAVA and beer releases. The Cerebral Run Club, hosted by Denver Athletics, meets here on Thursdays at 6 PM. Food trucks are scheduled for the Aurora Arts location too.
Cerebral books private events and brewery tours through its website. For private events, guests can bring a caterer, work with a food truck or provide their own food.
