TapRoom Beer Company is a brewery and restaurant on El Cajon Boulevard in North Park, San Diego. It grew out of one of San Diego's longest running local craft beer bars, and its founders opened this ground-floor brewery and restaurant to brew their own beer alongside that bar's local guest taps.
The taproom pours 50 taps, split between in-house brews and rotating local guest beer. Its website says the focus is on West Coast San Diego style beer, with a rotating list of IPAs, pale ales, lagers, imperial stouts and Belgian ales. You can also take beer home in packaged form, and the brewery distributes to other bars around town.
The kitchen runs a full American menu alongside the beer, from burgers and sandwiches to salads and shareable starters. The restaurant is full service and kid friendly, and the website says trivia runs on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
