Pure Project North Park is a brewery taproom on El Cajon Boulevard in San Diego's North Park area. The company's story started with a backpacking trip in 2013, when two friends began planning a brewery in Costa Rica before eventually building the business back home in San Diego. Today Pure Project runs five taprooms across San Diego County, and its website describes this North Park spot as having backyard biergarten vibes.
On tap you will find a wide range of styles, from IPAs and stouts to sours and wildcard releases. Pure Project also makes non-alcoholic beer, including Grounded IPA and Sunsip Blonde, plus hard seltzers, wine and cider under its Beyond Beer line. The hard seltzers and smoothies are available on tap and in cans to go.
The North Park taproom pours from that same lineup in an outdoor, backyard-style space, and the location has its own to-go ordering option. Pure Project also runs Wine Wednesdays across all of its taprooms, North Park included, and the company takes bookings for private events.
