Benny Boy Brewing is a brewery and cider house with a big backyard beer garden in Lincoln Heights, Los Angeles. Its website calls it the first and only combined brewery and cidery in the city. It also says the Tank Bar is the only one in Los Angeles.
Husband-and-wife team Chelsey Rosetter and Benny Farber founded it in 2022. The site describes a 15-barrel production brewery. The beer is unfiltered, with whole flower hops and natural carbonation, and the cider is made from California apples.
You can get a pint poured straight from the tank, or a cider from the barrel. The backyard has fire pits, and the cider house has an apple tree. Friendly, leashed dogs are welcome, and the website also mentions brewery cats.
The taproom is 21+ only, though infants in strollers are okay. Rotating food trucks park here daily, and live music is part of the calendar.
