Lengthwise Brewing Company is a brewpub on District Boulevard in southwest Bakersfield. This is the brewery location, one of three Lengthwise spots in town along with a pub and a marketplace. It also has its own event space.
The tap list is long and changes often, so the brewery suggests asking what is new or ordering the sampler. Regulars include Zeus Imperial IPA, Centennial Ale and Harvest Moon Wheat Ale. Lengthwise also makes a draft root beer and a coffee stout.
Lengthwise roasts its own coffee beans, and it sells them to take home. Google lists this location as a coffee shop and a sports bar as well as a brewery.
The kitchen serves sandwiches, burgers, salads and pub food like garlic fries and ale battered fish and chips. There is a kids menu, and the root beer float makes a good dessert. It is one of the most reviewed beer spots in Bakersfield on this site.
