Honey Pot Meadery is a mead tasting room on La Palma Avenue in Anaheim. Its founders discovered mead in 2010, when there was little of it to find in Southern California, and began making their own at home. They started the business in mid-2014 and pitched their first commercial batch a little over a year later, with help from friends in Oceanside.
The goal is to show how varied mead can be, in flavor, color and sweetness. Honey Pot signed the lease for its tasting room in 2017. Bottles are sold through the shop on its website.
Game nights fill the calendar. Thursday Night Trivia with Secret Level Trivia starts at 7:30, and Wednesday is casual Magic: The Gathering Commander night. Fridays bring Sip & Rip, which pairs pours with opening trading card packs.
