Yellowhammer Brewing is a brewery and taproom at Campus 805 in Huntsville. Four friends opened it in West Huntsville in 2010 to bring good, traditional beer to Alabama. It moved to Campus 805 in 2015 and has since doubled in size, adding a distillery.
The beers draw on Belgian and German brewing traditions with a Southern twist. The lineup spans hoppy, light, amber and dark beers, plus sours and seltzers. Yellowhammer makes spirits too.
Google describes a compact tasting room with outdoor seating. The taproom menu features Earth & Stone Pizza, and Monday nights bring an open mic.
A private Bierhall and a lounge in the back can be rented for events. It is one of the most reviewed beer spots in Huntsville on this site.
