Melvin Brewing - Alpine Brewery is a production brewery and taproom in Alpine, Wyoming. The Alpine site is called the Mothership, and it sits on the shore of the Palisades Reservoir, with views of the Star Valley mountains. Melvin started in 2010 on a tiny system in Jackson Hole.
The Mothership is where Melvin brews and packages its beer. It has a custom 30-barrel brewhouse and a high-speed canning line. The brewery became known for hazy, hoppy beers and collaborations with other breweries.
The brewery says Melvin won Gold for its IPA and Double IPA at the Great American Beer Festival in 2012. It says it was also named Best Small Brewery and Brewpub there in 2015.
The taproom has a full kitchen. The menu covers snacks, flatbreads, salads, smashburgers, tacos and a kids' menu.
