7 Seas Brewery and Taproom is the Tacoma brewery and taproom of 7 Seas Brewing, set in the restored historic Heidelberg Brewery building. Founders Mike and Travis grew up around Puget Sound. The website says 7 Seas was the first craft brewery in Washington to can its beer, back in 2009.
The year-round lineup includes Willie Maize Hazy IPA, Rude Parrot IPA, a pilsner, an American hef and Cutt's Amber Ale. Rotating series cover experimental IPAs, fruited sours made with San Juan Island sea salt and barrel-aged vintage ales. Some beers are draft only and pour just in the taprooms.
The Tacoma taproom is home to Canteen by Camp Colvos, which serves smash burgers and more. Naomi Joe roasts coffee in house. Washington wine and cider, gluten-free beer and non-alcoholic drinks are on hand too.
The building also holds a collection of historic Northwest beer memorabilia. It is one of the most reviewed beer spots in Tacoma on this site.

Can I bring kids or my dog to 7 Seas Tacoma?
Kids are welcome, since the taproom is all ages all the time. Pets are not allowed at the Tacoma taproom.
Is there food at the Tacoma taproom?
Yes. Canteen by Camp Colvos serves smash burgers and other food there. Outside food is also welcome, but outside drinks are not.
Can I reserve a space for a group?
Seating is first come, first served, but the Tacoma taproom has an event room for about 50 people. Request it with the form on the website, sent to the reservations email.
Can I buy beer to go?
Yes. Call the taproom to preorder cans, growlers and crowlers for pickup. Kegs are sold too, and the brewery will fill your own Corney keg.
