Whistle Punk Brewing is a lager focused brewery with a downtown taproom in Spokane. Its website says father and son Craig and Matt Hanson run it. The site calls its Czech Pilsner the heart of the brewery.
That pilsner is brewed with floor malted Bohemian pilsner and hopped with Czech Saaz. It is poured through a traditional side-pull faucet. The taproom also lists a Helles, a Bavarian Hefeweizen, several IPAs and a guava sour, and the lineup rotates.
Food is easy here. Heritage Bar and Kitchen is in the same building, and the website says you can have its full menu delivered to your table. Cans are available to go as well.
