Bron Yr Aur Brewing Co is a family-owned brewery and brewpub in Naches, on US Highway 12. Mike and Annette Hatten founded it in 2013 with a beer-infused pizza crust, and the brewery opened in January 2016. Its website says the Hatten family has lived in the upper Yakima Valley for over 100 years.
The name is Welsh for hill of gold, and you say it Bron Yar. Mike homebrewed for over 13 years before the family opened the brewery. The website lists core beers and a sour beer program.
There are two buildings and plenty of grass outside. The website calls it a family-friendly brewery and says kids are welcome in either building. Dogs are welcome outside on a leash.
