About Garden Path Fermentation

Garden Path Fermentation is a brewery, tasting room and bottle shop on Higgins Airport Way in Burlington. Its website says it is one of very few producers in the world that make beer, wine, cider and mead from ingredients grown nearby. It also says it ferments with only native yeast.

Fermentation happens in oak barrels of varying sizes, including a large open-top foudre. The website lists Skagit-grown grain and fruit, local honey and organic hops from a nearby farm.

The bottle shop carries over 400 bottles from around the world, according to the site. Beer, natural wine and cider from small producers fill the shelves, and Garden Path's own products are poured on draft.

The tasting room is 21 and over only and dog friendly. Trivia runs every Thursday at 7pm, and a Sunday School tasting runs every Sunday at 4pm. It is one of the most reviewed beer spots in Burlington on this site.
