North Sound Brewing Co. is a brewery and taproom on State Route 536 in Mount Vernon. Its website says Kurt and Lori opened it in 2010 after Kurt spent years homebrewing in his basement. Their first batch, Big Bend Blonde Ale, is still brewed today.
