About El Sue��ito Brewing Company
El Sueñito Brewing Company is a gay and Mexican-owned brewery in Bellingham. It blends the owners' Mexican heritage with Pacific Northwest craft tradition. The name, pronounced swe-NI-to, means the little dream in Spanish.
Dennis and Osbaldo opened Frelard Tamales in Seattle in 2015. In 2022 their dream became El Sueñito Brewing in Bellingham, and they have since expanded to Seattle. Dennis, the head brewer, earned a Master Brewer Certificate from UC Davis and brewed at Hellbent Brewing.
Flagships include Alebrijes Mexican Lager, which the brewery says has won awards, along with Mariquita Red Ale and Conejo Azteca Mexican Dark Lager. New Friends Pale Ale, Güerita Blonde Ale and Night Shift IPA round out the core. New beers come out every month, and Google lists the brewery as a Mexican restaurant too.
