About Boundary on State
Boundary on State is a brewpub from Boundary Bay Brewery, on North State Street in Bellingham. Boundary Bay has been brewing since 1995 and calls itself Bellingham's original craft brewery. It also says it is uniquely positioned as the first, the second and the third brewery in town.
Flagships include Amber Ale, Bellingham Blonde Ale, Cedar Dust IPA, NW Original IPA and Scotch Ale. The beer roster also lists a 12° Pilsner and a Boundary Lager.
The menu is built around shareable plates, salads, paninis and pub favorites. Think deviled eggs, baked brie, smoked salmon chowder and an apple brie panini. A kid menu has a grilled cheese.
Cocktails mix Boundary Bay favorites with new house creations. Maiden Voyage and Garden Marg are the flagship cocktails. Boundary Bay won Washington's 2014 Small Philanthropic Business of the Year Award, and it is one of the most reviewed beer spots in Bellingham on this site.
