About Bird Girl Bottle Shop
Bird Girl Bottle Shop is a bottle shop, pizza spot and wine bar in Historic Hilton Village in Newport News. Its website sums it up as craft beer, fine wine and wild pizzas.
Britt and Derek Lapiska are behind the shop. Their story says they found a house that turned out to be commercially zoned. They then worked with the city, architects, engineers and the health department to redesign it.
The shop says it aims to offer carefully curated craft beer, wine and a rotating selection of pizzas. Google lists it as a beer garden, a beer store, a wine store and an event venue. The website also has a draft list and a merch shop.
The owners say they plan to share local musicians and artisans on weekends. The events page is the place to see what is coming up.
