About Creekside Farm Brewery
Creekside Farm Brewery is a taproom on a working family farm in King George. Its website says the farm has been run by a multi-generational farming family since 2000. The beer is brewed on site with ingredients grown on the farm.
The taproom was built from reclaimed timber gathered across the property. Its centerpiece is Big Red, a restored Fitz water wheel that washed ashore on the Rappahannock River after Hurricane Agnes in 1972. Outside, there are courtyards and shaded areas to explore.
The signature list includes Hay Bale Blonde Ale, Thirsty Goat Farmhouse and Call Me Hazy, a hazy IPA. Oakenbrau Stout and Soggy Dog Seltzer are on it too. Taps rotate seasonally.
Nigerian dwarf goats live on the farm, and visitors are invited to say hello. Kids and leashed pets are welcome, and outside food is allowed. More people have reviewed Creekside Farm Brewery on Google than any other brewery, taproom or beer shop in King George on this site.
