About Red Clover Ale Co.

Red Clover Ale Co. is a brewery in Brandon, Vermont, that calls its beer uncomplicated. Its website says the family's long farming history inspired the plan to brew simple, accessible beers and do it exceedingly well.

Three brothers-in-law run it: Riker, Pete and Andy. Pete and Riker managed a dairy farm for five years, and that is where the brewery idea started. The taproom and branding draw on that farming history.

The tap list runs wide. A recent list had a hoppy lager, several IPAs, a schwarzbier, a Belgian style pale, a Vienna cream ale and a New Zealand pils, plus a non-alcoholic hoppy seltzer. Some beers also come in cans, sold as 4 packs.

Its events section lists beer gardens, live music and food vendors. Sundays on Wax, a DJ afternoon, runs on the second Sunday of each month. It is one of the most reviewed beer spots in Brandon on this site.
