Triple J Chophouse & Brew Co. is a brewpub and steakhouse on Buddy Holly Avenue in Lubbock's Historic Depot District. The website calls it Lubbock's first brewpub. It opened in August 2006 in a historic building that Hub City Brewery left behind, brewing equipment and all.
Joe and LaTisha Keller own and run it. Their family has fed Lubbock since 1978 through its Bigham's Bar-B-Q restaurants.
The house beers include Raider Red amber, Windmill Wheat, White Gold golden ale and Pepin the Short, a double IPA. There is also Dickens Cider, plus a wine list and a full bar.
The kitchen cooks from scratch, with hand cut steaks, seafood, salads and wood fired pizza. You can even pick the thickness of your ribeye, priced by the ounce. It is one of the most reviewed beer spots in Lubbock on this site.
