Mano Negra Brewing Co. & Sangria House is a nano brewery and sangria bar on 13th Street in Downtown Lubbock. Its drinks carry the flavors of Puerto Rico, where founder and brewmaster Daniel Badillo grew up. The website says it is Lubbock's first and only Latino-owned nano brewery.
Daniel moved his family to Lubbock in 2014 and started brewing after his wife gave him a homebrew kit. He first sold craft sodas at farmers markets, then opened the brewery in 2021. In 2025 it outgrew its first space and moved to this bigger downtown home.
The taps pour house ales and sangrias, and there are craft sodas, mocktails, wine and non-alcoholic options too. The website offers guided brewery tours of the facilities.
The weekly lineup has salsa lessons on Tuesday and trivia on Thursday. Latin nights with a DJ run twice a month. It is one of the most reviewed beer spots in Lubbock on this site.
