William Price Distilling Company is a working distillery and cocktail bar on Wakefield Drive in Houston. It calls itself a metropolitan craft distillery. Its website says it makes whiskey, vodka, coffee liqueur and more in house.
The name comes from William Price Clary, the fourth great-grandfather of co-founder Bryan Clary. The website says he was the first in the family to settle in Texas, in the 1840s. The founders say they want to honor that history while building their own Lone Star legacy.
The tasting room pours cocktails, and there are cocktail classes too. Guided tours cover the production space, barrel room and tasting room, then finish with a tasting of four spirits. Google also lists it as a bar and an event venue.
