Karbach Brewing Co. is a large Houston brewery on Karbach Street, and it has been brewing since 2011. The grounds hold four separate spots under one name: a Biergarten, a restaurant and patio, a pizza pub called Pizza & Pints, and a full swag shop. The website says the beer is built on classic German brewing techniques with a Texas twist.
The lineup runs from ZiegenBock Texas Bock and Karbach Lager to Love Street, a Kölsch-style blonde. Hopadillo comes as a Texas IPA plus hazy, juicy and imperial versions. Its rotating F.U.N. series of small-batch beers pours only on draft at the brewery.
The Biergarten has yard games and TVs for every sport. The restaurant serves burgers, pretzels and a long menu, and Pizza & Pints does pies and salads. The swag shop is a whole retail store of hats, koozies, shirts and jerseys.
