Jackalope Brewing Company - The Ranch is a brewery and taproom on Houston Street in Nashville's Wedgewood-Houston neighborhood. Its website says Jackalope opened in 2011 and was the first Nashville craft brewery to can its beer. The Ranch is the nickname for the larger brewery and taproom it moved into in 2018.
The taproom has 29 beers on tap from Jackalope and Black Abbey, a Nashville brewery Jackalope acquired in 2026. The list covers flagships, seasonals and small batches. Cold 4-packs and 6-packs are there to take home.
The room is industrial-modern, with exposed steel, warm wood, string lights and a full bar. A full food menu is served, and outside food is not permitted. Dozens of board games are on hand for anyone who wants to stay awhile.
The outdoor patio has a stage with live music every week, and the site says it is free to attend. Dogs and kids are both welcome.
