About Eponymous Brewing Company

Eponymous Brewing Company is a two barrel nanobrewery and taproom on Main Ave S in Brookings. Kyle McElhany and Sean Weber formed the company in 2017 and began production in March 2018. The taproom sits in the Lofts at Main.

The brewers put identity into their beers with local ingredients, including grains, fruits, hops, wild yeast and barrels from regional wineries. The tap list runs from IPAs and hazy double IPAs to sours, a milk stout and a witbier. Barrel-aged golden sours are sold in bottles.

The room mixes rustic and modern. It has a 13 seat live-edge bar, beer hall style bench seating, handmade tables, a lounge area with a gas fireplace and patio seating. All ages are welcome, and well behaved dogs are too.

Eponymous also makes THC infused seltzers in cans. More people have reviewed Wooden Legs Brewing Company on Google than Eponymous, but it is one of the two most reviewed beer spots in Brookings on this site.
