About Lops Brewing
Lops Brewing is a brewery and taproom on North Main Street in Woonsocket. It opened in 2019, after 18 months of planning. Sean Lopolito started it with his wife Sarah and their partner Andrea Roberto.
The taproom pours a rotating list that has included a hazy New England IPA, a cream ale, a Vienna lager and a hard cider made from Rhode Island apples. An experimental beer series adds new recipes, and the labels are hand drawn by Beth Braganca Bell. Flights of four are on the menu, and half pours are available on request.
Something is usually going on. Cribbage, vinyl night and a Tuesday event called Lopstail Tuesday fill the weekly calendar, and monthly clubs cover homebrewing, books and bingo. There is a patio, and the space can be booked for events.
