About Old Thunder Brewing Company
Old Thunder Brewing Company is a brewery and taproom in Blawnox, a borough just outside Pittsburgh. Its cask program serves true cask-conditioned ales, made with UK-grown ingredients and poured from an Angram beer engine. New cask releases arrive on Tuesdays.
False Kingdom is the year-round IPA, bright and balanced with a fruit-forward hop character. 340 Lager is a Munich-style Helles, clean and easy to drink. A barrel program adds strong beers for long maturation and low gravity saisons aged in wine barrels.
Taproom and patio seating is first come, first served. A food truck is usually parked out front or set up inside on open days, and you can bring your own food too. Trivia runs on Tuesday nights.
The space can be rented for private events. The entrance, parking lot, restroom and seating are all wheelchair accessible.
