About ColdFire Public House
ColdFire Public House is the Eugene pub of ColdFire Brewing, pairing house beer with wood-fired food. Brothers Dan and Stephen Hughes founded ColdFire in 2015. The company says it was named Oregon's Medium-Sized Brewery of the Year in 2025.
The beer honors European brewing traditions while staying rooted in the Pacific Northwest. Expect classic lagers, Northwest IPAs and cellared beers. ColdFire lists 7 GABF medals, 4 World Beer Cup medals and 14 Oregon Beer Awards, including Gold for its Czech Pils.
The kitchen cooks over an open flame grill you can see, and it is built around fire and fermentation. Executive Chef Alex Dakers runs the food program. Menu staples include Beer Cheese Nachos, Fish Sauce Wings and grilled bread baked in house with Camas Country Mill flour.
The menu marks vegetarian, vegan, gluten free and dairy free dishes. Wood-fired fare and fermented foods are meant to pair with the draught and barrel-aged bottled beers.
