About Tar Banks Brewing Company
Tar Banks Brewing Company is a nano brewery and taproom in downtown Louisburg. It opened in 2017. The brewery says it is Louisburg's only craft brewery.
The taps pour Tar Banks beers alongside local and domestic guest beers. Wine, slushies and sodas are on hand too, and the root beer is made in-house. Cans are sold to go, and you can mix and match or take home a six-pack.
Food trucks park right outside every week, and snacks are sold inside. Weekly game nights and a darts league make it easy to meet people. Live music and trivia nights have been part of the calendar too.
Ron and Rita Cox own the brewery, and Jared Barkley is the brew master. Families and pets are welcome. The entrance and parking lot are wheelchair accessible.
