About Oak City Brewing Company

Oak City Brewing Company is a brewery and taproom in a renovated 1920s bungalow in downtown Knightdale, North Carolina. Its website says founders Blake Cone and Matt Keeler opened the doors in 2016. Knightdale Station Park sits right behind it.

Inside, the taproom has 20 rotating taps of beers and ciders, plus bottles and a small wine selection. Three rooms of tables and bars give you room to settle in. Outside, a patio sits under a pergola with fans in summer and heaters in cooler weather.

A large fenced lot next to the brewery has space for kids, picnics and lawn games. The website says dogs are welcome in the beer garden, on the patio or out on the lawn. A food truck is on site every day the taproom is open.

Google lists a wheelchair accessible entrance and parking lot. The park behind the brewery has a train station themed playground and two miles of paved hiking trails.
