Town Brewing Co is a brewery in Charlotte's Wesley Heights neighborhood. Its website says it opened in the fall of 2018 in an old automotive shop and became the first brewery in Wesley Heights.
The idea started in 2010, when four homebrewers talked about starting a brewery in a garage. Federico De La Torre IV is the head brewer today, and the website says he loves old school crispy IPAs. Town beer is sold across North Carolina and reaches into South Carolina.
The taproom has a kitchen with vegan, vegetarian and gluten free options. You can sit indoors or out on the patio, and the website calls the place dog friendly. Kids have their own menu.
Regular events include open mic on Mondays, Trail Talk on Tuesdays, and trivia and a run club on Wednesdays. Groups can also book the space for parties.
