Wicked Weed Brewing Pub is a brewpub on Biltmore Avenue in downtown Asheville. Its website calls it the original home of Wicked Weed Brewing, which opened its first location in 2012. The building houses a full restaurant, a downstairs taproom, a bottle shop and the original 15 barrel brewery.
The website says Wicked Weed was known from the start for pushing the envelope. The brewpub opened with 25 unique draft beers, including West Coast style IPAs and barrel-aged sour ales. Pernicious and Freak of Nature are among its flagship brands.
The restaurant serves what Google describes as high-end, locally sourced New American fare. The taproom and the bottle shop give you other ways to enjoy the beer. Brewpub tours are offered for guests 21 and up.
