About Griffon Brewing
Griffon Brewing is a brewery and taproom on Lockport Street in Youngstown, New York. Its name recalls the Griffon, a 45-ton ship that explorer La Salle launched on the Niagara River in 1679. The ship vanished on its return voyage, and the mystery has never been solved.
Not every beer is canned for sale. Some can only be tried on tap at the brewery or at a Griffon gastropub. Griffon also runs gastropubs in Lewiston, Niagara Falls and East Aurora.
The entrance and the parking lot are both wheelchair accessible. You can sign up for emails at griffonbrewing.com to hear about beer releases, events and music. Griffon also keeps a profile on Untappd for its beers.
