About South Shore Craft Brewery
South Shore Craft Brewery is a brewery and taproom on Hampton Road in Oceanside. Its website says two good friends and former teachers from a local high school turned their home brewing into a full brewery. The taproom sits right beside the working brewery equipment.
The tap list runs to 20 taps, with classic styles and small one-barrel batches. The flagships include Shark Bite Double IPA, Haviland Pilsner, Hazy Harbor and Galway Hooker Irish red. A Puckered Up sour series and seasonal beers rotate through too.
Beer is not the only pour. The brewery makes its own cider and hard seltzer, and it offers New York State wines and liquors. Most beers go home in four-packs or growlers.
Live music, trivia, watch parties and private parties all happen here. A food truck page and an outdoor beer garden are listed on the site. It is the second most reviewed beer spot in Oceanside on this site, behind Barrier Brewing Co.
