About Helderberg Mountain Brewing Co.
Helderberg Mountain Brewing Co. is a farm brewery and taproom at 83 Main St in East Berne, in the Hilltowns of western Albany County. It opened in 2015 and brews on a 7 BBL system with a 1.5 BBL pilot system. Most of its beers use between 90% and 100% New York malts and hops.
The Blonde Ale, Wheat Ale, Hefeweizen, Pale Ale, Amber Ale and IPA are made from 100% New York ingredients. The taproom also has non-alcoholic beer options, so ask what is on. The taproom is open year round.
The room is relaxed, and families and leashed pets are welcome. On Saturday afternoons from May through October there is live music outdoors under a covered pavilion, with food trucks on site. From January through April the music moves inside the taproom, and you can bring your own food or snacks for those shows.
You can take the beer home. Staff fill a clean growler if you bring one, and 32 oz. crowlers and rotating 4 packs of 16 oz. cans are available.
