Threes Brewing is a brewery and brewpub on Douglass Street in Gowanus, Brooklyn. It opened in 2014 as the company's flagship, and the Brooklyn brewhouse sits right behind the main bar. By day it is a brewery, coffee shop and beer shop, and by night a brewpub, beer garden and music venue.
Threes is known for lagers, hop-forward American ales and mixed culture beers. The tap list pairs its freshest beers with picks from other craft breweries it admires. Wine and cocktail menus round it out.
The Main Bar has high ceilings, a long bar, banquet seating and a skylight. Tiny Montgomery is a room named after a Dylan lyric, used for bands, stand-up comedy, soccer screenings and private events. The Yard is a year-round outdoor space with its own bar, tented in winter.
Ninth Street Espresso pours coffee on site, and The Shop at Threes sells cans and bottles to go. The kitchen serves food daily, and the brewpub hosts parties, corporate events and weddings. It is one of the most reviewed beer spots in Brooklyn on this site.
