About Behr Brewing
Behr Brewing is a brewery on Seashore Rd in Cape May. Its website says it started in 2010 when Catherine gave Steven a home brew kit for Christmas. The brewery is named after Catherine Behrens, whom Steven now calls Momma Behr.
The couple were founding members of the Cape May Brewers Guild, the state's most southern homebrew club. After years of planning, financing and construction, they opened a brewery of their own. The tap list is long and runs from a Czech pale lager and a Belgian golden strong to hazy IPAs, stouts and a pumpkin beer.
You can sit outside, and the outdoor area is pet friendly. The website says there is Wifi, onsite parking and flights. The brewery sits right along the bike path.
New Jersey breweries cannot serve food, so you are welcome to bring your own. It is one of the most reviewed beer spots in Cape May on this site.
