About High Point Brewing Company
High Point Brewing Company is a brewery in Butler, New Jersey, that makes its beer under the Ramstein name. It was founded in 1996 and specializes in German-style lagers and wheat beers. Brewer Greg Zaccardi trained in southern Germany before he started it.
The malt, hops and yeast are imported from Bavaria. The wheat beers use a Bavarian yeast from a small brewery that agreed to share it. The beer is named after the town of Ramstein in Germany, home to the Ramstein U.S. Air Force Base.
The taproom and gift shop pour beer on tap and sell it to go. You can take home cans, bottles, kegs or growler fills. Tours and tastings are offered too.
Dogs are welcome in the taproom on a leash. The brewery also hosts private events. The brewery says it has earned Gold, Silver and Bronze medals at the TAP NY Craft Beer Competition.
