Breweries in New Hampshire

Based on the breweries in the brewery.fyi register and their own websites, read September 2026.

No single city leads the New Hampshire beer map. Manchester has the most breweries, and it still holds less than a tenth of them. Manchester, Nashua and Portsmouth together hold only about a fifth.

The rest are spread across dozens of towns, from Concord and Londonderry to Dover, Keene and Plymouth. Beer stores make up almost a quarter of the list, and the rest are nearly all breweries. Where size is known, microbreweries and brewpubs come close to an even split.

Last Chair Brewery & Restaurant in Plymouth and Earth Eagle Brewings in Portsmouth are two of the most reviewed breweries in the state. Kettlehead Brewing Company in Tilton and Hobbs Tavern & Brewing Company in West Ossipee also draw plenty of reviews.

Planning a brewery trip in New Hampshire

Manchester and Nashua make good bases, since they hold the biggest groups of breweries in the state. Portsmouth, Concord and Londonderry each have a handful of stops too, and so does Dover.

With the map this spread out, it helps to plan each stop before you drive. Every brewery page on brewery.fyi has hours, a map and what to know before you go. Check it on the day, since taproom hours can change.
