About Stonewise - Mead & Cider
Stonewise is a family-owned meadery and cidery in Pahrump. Chris and Shawna, a husband-and-wife team, make the drinks and run the taproom. It sits about an hour from Las Vegas.
The draft list is all mead and cider, and most pours stay under 7% ABV. Battle Born is a mead made with desert wildflower honey. 3.14 (Apple Pi) is a cider with brown sugar, cinnamon and vanilla.
Higher ABV bottles are released in limited runs. The brewery says it has more than 250 unique recipes.
Families are welcome. Kids get games, a kids' area, snacks and non-alcoholic craft sodas, and you must be 21 to drink. There is a patio, and the entrance, parking lot, restroom and seating are all wheelchair accessible.

Can I bring my kids to Stonewise?
Yes. Families are welcome, and kids can use the games and the kids' area. Craft sodas and juice boxes are on hand, but you must be 21 to buy or drink alcohol.
Is there food?
There is no kitchen, but small snacks are sold. You can bring your own food or order takeout or delivery from Pahrump restaurants.
Can I take mead or cider home?
Yes. Stonewise fills 750mL glass growlers and 32oz insulated metal growlers to order. It will also refill a clean growler from another brand.
Can I bring my own drinks?
No. Nevada law does not allow outside alcohol at Stonewise.
Can I book a tour or a private event?
Yes. Stonewise takes inquiries for small groups, tours and private events through its website. The taproom is wheelchair accessible.

Before you visit Stonewise
Bring a valid government-issued photo ID with your birth date if you plan to drink. Eat first or order delivery, since the taproom has no kitchen.
Check the What's On Tap page at stonewise.com before you go, because the list changes. Bring a clean growler if you want a refill to take home.
Leave outside drinks at home, and do not smoke or vape on the patio. A small walkway nearby is the place for that, and open containers must stay inside.
