About Rathskeller Bier Haus
From Rathskeller Bier Haus's own website and its Google listing, read October 4, 2026.
Rathskeller Bier Haus is a German beer hall and restaurant in Omaha's Blackstone District. Its website says the building dates back to the early 20th century and is noted for its Sullivanesque architecture.
The menu is German. It lists pretzels with spicy mustard, a Bavarian cheese spread called obatzda, bier cheese soup and flatbreads called flammkuchen. Sausages come with a choice of sides such as sauerkraut or potato salad.
The website tells the building's story. It was a contractor's office, a soda fountain, a bar under several names and a coffee shop before it became the Rathskeller Bier Haus in 2018. Zachary and Jessica Kirkpatrick reopened it in 2024.
You can ask about renting the space for a private event or a meeting through the website. The site also has a Bier Club page. It is one of the most reviewed beer spots in Omaha on this site.
