About Burnt Tree Brewing

Burnt Tree Brewing is a brewery in downtown Ennis, Montana. It opened in August 2019 and is proudly Montana-centric. Most of its ingredients come from Montana growers.

The name comes from a fishing access on the Madison River, a few miles upstream of the brewery. Scott and Amy Kelley started the business, with Dave McAdoo as head brewer.

The flagship beers are Flyin' Ant Honey Blonde Ale, The Other One Hazy IPA and Ursula Oatmeal Stout. The tap list rotates, so check burnttreebrewing.com for what is pouring today. The brewery says its Maui Magic fruited wheat beer won a silver medal in the Fruit Beer category at the 2025 Montana Beer Awards.

The beer is never sold outside Montana and is rarely found outside the taproom. Live music plays here, and the entrance and parking lot are wheelchair accessible.
